Reporting to the Executive Managing Director, you will collaborate with the Danier Ecommerce and Senior Management teams on the creation and development of all creative assets, social media content, and overall social media strategy, including emails and website content, providing crucial support to the successful implementation of Danier retail direct-to-consumer programs.

What you will do… 

  • Ideate, write, edit, and/or create and distribute content on appropriate platforms, and measure the results of social marketing activity to drive consumer engagement
  • Develop and maintain content calendars and support day-to-day management of social media channels and platforms,
  • Increase awareness of the Danier brand on social media channels (primarily Instagram and Facebook), create on-trend content experiences, and grow our following to drive  conversions
  • Shoot, edit, and post engaging visual content for multi-platform use
  • Ensure up-to date social media content consistent with current social media and Influencer Marketing activities.
  • Build and manage online community activity and social listening across all social media platforms, and authentically engage with stakeholders by monitoring the Company’s social media accounts, interacting with users, and responding to social media messages, inquiries, and comments 
  • Develop reports on emerging social media and industry trends, review analytics, and report on key metrics
  • Establish and maintain design standards, and look, feel and tone of Danier brand throughout all marketing assets
  • Conceive and design advertising and promotional content such as landing page, web banners, emails
  • Partner with the Customer Care team to develop and maintain brand voice to drive positive customer engagement
  • Adhere to all company-wide policies, values, processes, procedures, and requirements and health and safety guidelines
  • Participate in graphic design and related special projects, and perform other duties and assignments as required.

What you bring to the team….

  • Equivalent of post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, business or retail-oriented field of study
  • Minimum of 2 years of social media, marketing or retail/ecommerce direct-to-consumer experience with an understanding of and adherence to strict brand guidelines and ability to edit, colour correct and retouch photos
  • Proven track record of leveraging social media to connect, inspire and motivate target brand audiences with a portfolio of related work samples
  • Possess an exceptional knowledge of fashion, art or culture and comprehensive understanding of the apparel ecommerce industry, including competitive and marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, audience content consumption behaviors and trends
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and demonstrated technical expertise in major social media platforms and related best practices such as Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop to design visually appealing store banners and collateral showcasing our products, sales, and brand identity across multiple digital platforms; experience with Canva, Mailchimp, Klavyio, or other email deployment platforms strongly preferred
  • Photography and design skills with previous fashion photoshoot and videography experience an asset
  • Fluent English oral and written communication skills with strong composition, grammar and spelling essential; proficiency in French and multilingual communications an asset
  • Ability to solve problems, use critical thinking and apply sound judgment
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual aesthetics
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, take initiative and collaborate as a team player
